The Certified Swim Coach™ (CSC) program is designed for coaches who want to advance their career and increase their lifetime earning potential. Whether you’re early in your journey or preparing to step into leadership, the CSC mastermind provides a structured environment to develop how you think, how you lead, and how you grow over the long term.

This is not just an educational program. It’s a guided, immersive experience that combines professional development, business mentorship, and career networking. The goal isn’t short-term advancement, it’s to help you build a coaching career you’re proud of and a life you genuinely enjoy.

12 Weeks Of Structured Programming

PHASE I: COACHING IDENTITY

Clarify who you are as a coach, how you lead, and how you communicate with confidence and intention. 

  • Week 1 —Coaching Identity & Philosophy: You will have a clearly articulated coaching WHY, a written coaching philosophy, and 3–5 measurable career goals that anchor your development throughout the program.
  • Week 2 — Fundamentals of Communication: You will communicate with clarity, confidence, and authority across athletes, parents, and stakeholders using intentional voice, body language, and professional presence.

PHASE II: TECHNIQUE FOUNDATIONS

Build a deep, principled understanding of technique so you can teach any swimmer, at any level, with clarity.

  • Week 3 — The Physics of Swimming: Understand and be able to explain how drag, propulsion, and body position drive performance, allowing you to prioritize technique changes that actually matter.
  • Week 4 — Stroke Systems (Long Axis & Short Axis): How to teach all four strokes using clear progressions, identify common technical errors, and apply stroke systems rather than isolated cues.
  • Week 5 — Technique Progression & Video Analysis: By the end of this week, you will confidently film, analyze, and deliver focused technique feedback using video, improving athlete understanding without overwhelming them.

PHASE III: TRAINING FUNDAMENTALS

Learn how to design intelligent training systems that align physiology, planning, and long-term athlete development.

  • Week 6 — Energy Systems (Applied): You will understand how aerobic and anaerobic systems apply to swimming and be able to design workouts with clear physiological intent.
  • Week 7 — Seasonal & Workout Planning: Learn how to design a season plan and write effective daily workouts that align long-term goals with weekly and session-level execution.
  • Week 8 — Strength Training & Injury Prevention: Understand how to safely integrate dryland training, manage training loads, and reduce injury risk while supporting in-water performance.

PHASE IV: ATHLETE MANAGEMENT

Develop the skills to manage people—not just performances—by mastering psychology, fueling, and long-term consistency.

  • Week 9 — Mental Training & Psychology: Be able to apply basic mental training principles to improve athlete confidence, group dynamics, and your own effectiveness as a coach.
  • Week 10 — Nutrition & Fueling for Swimmers: Confidently guide swimmers and parents on fueling before, during, and after training and competition using practical, age-appropriate strategies.

PHASE V: CAREER & LIFE SUSTAINABILITY

Design a coaching career that’s financially sustainable, professionally respected, and aligned with the life you want to live.

  • Week 11 — Culture, Parents & Stakeholders: How to build a positive team culture, set clear boundaries, and communicate effectively with parents and administrators to earn trust and alignment.
  • Week 12 — Career Development, Finance & Life Design: Have clarity on potential coaching career paths, a basic financial framework, and a sustainable plan for balancing coaching with personal life.

MASTERMIND & MENTORSHIP

At the start of the program, each coach is placed into a mentorship pathway based on their current experience and long-term goals.

Every pathway is led by an experienced mentor and brings together coaches who are navigating similar challenges and opportunities.

This is a curated environment designed to accelerate growth through mentorship, shared experience, and intentional networking—for coaches who are serious about where they’re going, not just where they are today.

Fares Ksebati is an internationally recognized swim coach, educator, and entrepreneur. He is the Co-Founder and CEO of MySwimPro, a global swimming platform that has impacted millions of swimmers and coaches.

For 15 years, Fares has coached swimmers around the world and mentored coaches of all levels. MySwimPro University was created to deliver the education, structure, and mentorship that is necessary to help coaches advance their coaching careers.

 Who is this program for?

MySwimPro University is for coaches and aquatics professionals who see this as a long-term profession and want to grow with intention, increase their impact and earn more money. It’s built for the next generation of aquatics leaders who have discipline, integrity, and ambition.

 Who is this program NOT for?

MySwimPro University is not for coaches looking for a quick certification or surface-level education. If you’re not willing to invest time, effort, and energy into your development, this is not the right fit. Every member of the Mastermind program should elevate the overall group. 

I’m a part-time coach or just getting started, can I enroll?

Yes. The program is designed to meet you where you are and help you build a clear, intentional path forward as a coach. As long as you’re committed to learning, participating, and applying what you learn, being part-time or early in your journey is not a limitation.

 Does the Certified Swim Coach™ Certification guarantee me a job? 

No certification can promise automatic placement and we’re intentionally honest about that. What CSC does is significantly increase your leverage by improving how you coach, communicate, and position yourself within the industry. You'll also work with our team to work towards your goals whether that's a new opportunity or starting your own venture. 

 What if I can't make the LIVE session?

All live sessions are recorded and available for replay, so you won’t miss the core content. If you know you’ll be absent, you can submit questions in advance to ensure they’re addressed during the live discussion by the professor.

 How hard is it to pass the certification?

The Certified Swim Coach™ program is designed to be challenging, but fair. Coaches who show up, engage, complete the homework and pass exams above 80% will pass. The goal isn’t to trick you, it’s to ensure that every coach who earns the CSC has genuinely earned it.

 What happens at the end of the 12-week program?

Graduates have the opportunity to continue in the ongoing mastermind with continuous mentorship. This mastermind is a yearly membership that starts after completing of the 12-week program. The goal is long-term professional growth, development, and networking, not a one-and-done experience.

 How much access do I have to the professors and mentors?

Professors will run the weekly lectures, assign homework, and give feedback to all students. Mastermind Mentorship is intentionally group-based, with structured opportunities for feedback and discussion. One-on-one interaction occurs only through assignment feedback, not open-ended messaging, which protects the quality of mentorship for the entire cohort.

 Why is enrollment limited?

This program is cohort-based and mentorship-driven, which means quality matters more than the number of students. To protect the experience for every coach, we cap enrollment and close registration once the cohort is full.

 What if the price of the program is a stretch for me right now?

We offer a limited number of scholarships for coaches who are aligned with the mission and committed to fully participating. Scholarships are awarded based on the strength of the application, need, availability, and fit.​

 How do I enroll?

Spots are first-come, first-served and secured with a non-refundable enrollment deposit of $99. Once the cohort is full, enrollment closes and the next opportunity won’t be until next semester. Most likely the tuition will have increased so it's best to join as early as possible.
